Sidewalk Chalk Race Track

 Yesterday we had a lot of fun with making a sidewalk chalk race track on our driveway. I drew a pretty long winding race track and the boys and myself "drove" their cars around it.

We also drew starting lines on the driveway and pushed our cars straight to see whose car would go the farthest.

Outside Adventure! Looking for Snow

Today the 30 days to play challenge was to play outside no matter what the weather.  You can read more about the challenge at The Imagination tree. We go outside and play pretty much every day we just dress accordingly. When I looked out and saw it was snowing I told the boys to hurry up and we'd head out. By the time we got dressed and went out it stopped snowing and had pretty much melted. So we went on a snow hunt to see if any had stuck around.

They found some snow on the swing set then we played outside for awhile longer.

We had fun digging in the dirt patch and then took a walk to a nearby park to look for acorns.

 Even though the squirrels got all the acorns we still had a fun time outside.
