Thanksgiving Countdown: Thankful Tree

As the first activity on our Thanksgiving Countdown we made a thankful tree and Talked about what we are thankful for as a family. First we went to the park and collected some branches.

Then when we got home we collected our materials:
You will need some leaves cut out of paper, markers or crayons, branches, vase, hole puncher and ribbon.

We asked the boys what they were thankful for and wrote their answers on the leaves. Then they decorated the leaves.

Their answers included- family, the computer, our dog, sports, firemen, ocean animals, cows, chickens then they just started listing farm animals.

Arrange the sticks in a vase. Punch a hole in the leaves and hang as is or add ribbon to hang.
