Today the three of us worked together to make a Christmas tree mural. I've been reading about the benefits of drawing on a vertical surface and how it helps build the muscles necessary for writing. To encourage vertical drawing I taped a large sheet of brown wrapping paper from the dollar store to the wall and drew the outline of a Christmas tree. I set out crayons, foam stickers and bingo dabbers.
They worked very hard on their Christmas tree and were so proud of it!
